Dear Digital Diary,
Since I'm bored and not traveling anywhere anytime soon due to this pandemic (And only a pandemic would have stopped me from doing so.) Here are some pics I took about 2 years ago, when I visited the wonderful land of sake, kobe steak, mystical temples, bullet trains, the best ramen, bowing animals and some of the most wonderful people in the world. Japan 🗾

In all of my pics you'll notice "Amadeus." He was my little green travel buddy that got all the epic shots during the trip. At the time there was this cute little trend, (maybe it's still around and I haven’t noticed? 🤷‍♂️) it’s when you traveled around with a little toy, taking scenic pics of your toy and making it look like the toy is on vacation. It seemed like a wonderful idea at the time, so Amadeus became my model and I his photographer.

Unfortunately, that would be the last time he would travel. After the trip I thought to myself, If one of my top goals is to travel and see the world. I should be able to showcase that I was actually there where I say I am. I mean, We live in this digital age where anyone could 'steal' an image from anywhere on the great big interwebs and claim it as their own. However, if I'm in the photograph, it'll make it easy to prove that I was genuinely there and I'm not some kind of fake troll. So that day going forward I decided I would appear in more of my photos and none of Amadeus.😅 Anywho, reminiscing through my old Japan photos really makes it necessary for me to travel there again. I need to visit the many things that I didn't get to see, explore more of what I already saw and even redo all of the shots I took before.
Once we are able to go on planes again, you better believe I'll start planning my next adventure.
